It's Hari Raya!
Spent the afternoon at Fazee's place.Pretty Fazee in hot-pink coloured
baju kurung came over to bring the whole group of people-Amous,Weijun,Yu Xiang,Wen Kiong,Janice,Xue Wen,Shujun,Yijun and me,to her house.

Her house's carpet is super comfy to step on because it's furry.
Greeted Fazee's mum,sat down and we helped ourselves to the appealing hari raya homemade goodies on her coffee table.

Hari Raya Homemade goodies!
I especially like the indian-styled Murukku and the biscuit-filled centred chocolate with hazelnut in the centre and nutty toppings.I'm even more impressed when fazee told me that it's made by her and her mother. While munching on those,we watched some television programmes and browsed through her old photo albums. She definitely looked cute when she's young and the interpretation of the story-like letter,at the back of the album is totally insane and funny.

We had early dinner after that. The dinner was a simple fare but it was nice.We were of course, served with some hot stuffs. The dishes consist of Nasi Briyani,Curry,Spice-marrinated chicken wings and thighs and a dish of somehow-hot-but-not-really chicken. So after dinner,we went into the room and started chatting and taking photos. Before we left the house,we did the malay's 'salam',thanked Fazee's mum and received green packets from her.We proceeded with play with sparklers at the playground nearby her block.Took loads of pictures (with Yijun's camera) and left home afterwards.
Pretty Fazee in Malay traditional costume.
It's been a great day and I've experienced how the Malays actually spend this special day of theirs. Thanks Fazee and family for the hospitality and good food too(:
